Rustguard Aqua FAQs

What applications is Rustguard Aqua best suited for?

Rustguard Aqua is ideal for medium-term stockholding of bright steel, interim protection of components awaiting machining or assembly and general rust prevention in machine shops and tool rooms.

How should Rustguard Aqua be applied and diluted?

The product should be diluted with water at concentrations between 5% and 30%, depending on the level of protection required. Immersion is recommended, but brushing or spraying is also suitable. After application, the water must be allowed to fully dry for maximum protection.

Can Rustguard Aqua be used outdoors?

No. Rustguard Aqua is not recommended for applications exposed to the elements, as prolonged moisture exposure may cause re-emulsification of the protective coating.
