Microclean CIC is a low foaming aqueous process cleaner/degreaser specially designed for cleaning cast iron parts post machining. The product is suitable for use in hard & soft water qualities & contains higher concentrations of corrosion inhibitors to provide a degree of short-term corrosion protection in between machining operations.
Microclean CIC is primarily recommended for use in large tunnel & rotary wash systems operating at high volumes & temperatures where a low foaming product is required. The product may also be used in soak tank operations for cast iron & other ferrous parts.

Microclean CIC has been designed to remove contaminants such as oils, greases and residue from newly machined cast iron parts.
Our range of process cleaner’s offer improved corrosion protection however this is only very short-term coverage and not a specific rust preventative. We always recommend treating parts with a suitable product from our Rustguard & Microcore range post wash.

Whilst our process cleaners can be used at ambient temperatures, for maximum efficiency and low foam we recommend the product is warmed. See product specific Technical Data Sheet for recommended use.
