This Christmas we are supporting local Sheffield charity PACT, by donating £250 to help towards the Christmas events they have planned for the children and young people, along with their families who they support.
PACT, run by parents has been supporting families who have children receiving cancer treatment at Sheffield Children’s Hospital since 1977. In addition to support within the hospital, PACT House is there to give parents somewhere to eat, sleep and shower and offers them respite from the stress of hospital.
Our Sales Director; John Grierson and Marketing Executive; Caroline Lindsay were welcomed to PACT House by Beryl, the charities Coordinator, who shared her own experience of her daughter having leukaemia at just 4 years old.
Beryl and her colleagues work tirelessly to ensure the families are supported during their child’s cancer treatment and that money is continually raised for the hospital’s cancer unit.
We couldn’t think of a more worthy cause for this year’s donation – If you’d like to find out more about PACT and the fantastic support they offer parents and families, click here. You can also read more from some of the families PACT has helped over the years here.
