On Friday 10th June three full pallets of your shoe box donations were collected by TEECH (Telecoms Eastern European Challenge) a small independent charity who deliver aid, including clothing, toys & shoes to communities in Eastern Europe who need help.
Since the start of the war in Ukraine, TEECH have been gathering donations & have already made a trip over to Moldova to deliver aid to Ukrainian families fleeing the conflict. They are due to make their second trip on Sunday 19th June, when your donations will start their journey to the Ukrainian refugees who need them.
We’d like to say a HUGE thank you to all our customers, local Sheffield businesses & residents & St Paul’s school in Wakefield who dropped off shoe box donations with us. These gifts of kindness will make a big difference.
We’d also like to thank Diane & the team at Hope & Aid for all their advice, and of course all the volunteers at TEECH, for getting your donations to where they are needed most!
