12 members of the Pennine Lubricants Ltd team are raising money for two fantastic local charities by hiking the 3 Yorkshire Peaks: Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) & Ingleborough (723 metres).
This circular walk/hike totals 24.5 miles & the team are hoping to complete the challenge in less than 12 hours.
We have chosen to support two Sheffield based charities:
Paces Sheffield is a specialist centre for children with Cerebral Palsy & other motor disorders. It provides a specialist school, offering conductive education programmes to enrich learning opportunities & transform lives.
Hallam FM’s Cash for Kids mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children & young people across Yorkshire & North Derbyshire, who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs. They work with local organisations, directly supporting families who often have nowhere to go.
