At Pennine Lubricants, every product is manufactured with a focus on reliability, performance, and repeatability, ensuring customers receive the same high standard, batch after batch.
All Pennine products are engineered in-house at our Sheffield manufacturing facility using carefully selected raw materials, including 100% virgin base oils. From highly complex lubricant formulations containing more than 25 additives to streamlined base-oil blends, every product is developed for long-term consistency and dependable performance.
Our blending process combines advanced manufacturing capability with strict quality control procedures. Every blending vessel is fully jacketed, allowing controlled heat application to improve additive solubility and ensure long-term product stability. Mechanical agitation is used throughout the process to create a perfectly homogeneous mix, while specialist formulations containing suspended solids benefit from advanced high-shear and low-shear blending techniques.
This level of process control is particularly important for demanding industrial applications, where even small formulation inconsistencies can affect equipment performance, efficiency, and reliability. By maintaining precise blending conditions and rigorous testing standards, Pennine ensures customers receive products they can rely on every time.
In 2024, Pennine expanded operations with the addition of a second blend plant, increasing total capacity to 12 blending vessels. This investment has strengthened production capability, reduced lead times, and improved scalability to support growing customer demand across multiple sectors.
Every batch is produced and tested in line with our ISO 9001 accredited quality systems, with retained samples and full traceability providing additional reassurance. Combined with continuous investment in research, technology, and technical expertise, Pennine remains committed to delivering high-quality lubrication solutions tailored to modern industry.
For our customers, that means greater confidence, consistent product performance, and a supply partner equipped to meet evolving operational demands.
