How to Clean Your Vehicle with D2 Pro Range

Keeping your vehicle clean is essential for maintaining its appearance & longevity. Regular washing not only improves the vehicle’s aesthetics but also prevents damage from dirt, debris, & environmental factors.

Step 1: Rinse the Vehicle

Start by thoroughly rinsing your vehicle with water only. This helps remove loose dirt, dust, and debris, preventing scratches when applying soap. Use a hose or a pressure washer for an even & effective rinse.

Step 2: Apply a D2 Pro Vehicle Cleaning Product & Wash

Choose one of our high-quality traffic film removers, Gleam Wash & Wax or Car Shampoo and dilute using the recommended dilution rates on the products technical data sheet.

Apply traffic film removers (TFR) using the following methods:

  • A pressure washer with a chemical injector
  • A foam lance for a thick, clinging foam
  • A spray bottle for targeted cleaning
  • A bucket and brush for manual scrubbing

Start application at the bottom of the vehicle and work up. Agitate product with vehicle brush.

Gleam Wash & Wax or Car Shampoo is for manually application only.

Step 3: Clean the Wheels

Wheels tend to accumulate the most dirt, grime, & brake dust. Use a separate brush or sponge to scrub the rims and tyres. Masterclean CDS PD will help lift dirt & grime. Rinse thoroughly to remove all residue.

Step 4: Rinse Off the Soap

After cleaning your vehicle, rinse it again with clean water. Ensure all product is washed off to avoid streaks or residue left on the surface.

Step 5: Dry the Vehicle (Optional)

Use a microfiber towel or a chamois to dry the car. Wiping the surface in straight motions helps prevent water spots and streaks. Make sure to dry the windows and mirrors thoroughly.

Step 6: Clean the Windows

Apply a Reflection Glass Cleaner to the windows and mirrors. Adjust spray nozzle to give a fine or course spray depending upon your requirements. Apply sparingly and then polish off with a clean dry absorbent lint free wipe or tissue to leave a sparkle.

Step 7: Interior Cleaning (Optional)

If you’re cleaning the vehicles interior, vacuum the seats, floor mats, and carpets. Wipe down the dashboard, centre console, and door panels with a mild cleaner and microfiber cloth.

Step 8: Final Touches and Inspection

Inspect the vehicle for any missed spots and make necessary touch-ups. Enjoy the fresh, clean look of your well-maintained vehicle!
