A range of monograde and multigrade engine oils, designed to cater for naturally aspirated and large turbo charged, diesel and petrol engines. Manufactured from heat stable, high viscosity index, solvent refined virgin base oils with a balance of anti-oxidant, anti-wear, and detergent-dispersant additives.
Within the extensive Pennine
range are mono grades are with viscosities of SAE 10w,20, 30
,40 & 50 and multigrades of SAE 5w/40, 10w/30, 10w/40, 15w/40,
15w/50,20w/30 20w/40, & 20w/ 50. These oils are designed
to meet both international and engine manufacturers specifications,
typical are ACEA. A3, B3, E3; API. SJ, SG, CG,CD; CCMC. D5/PD2;
MB. 228.3; Volvo VDS-2; MAN QC 13-017; MACK EO ñK/2; MIL-L-2104C;
MIL-L-46152E: Allison C3; Caterpillar TO-2;
The viscosity and performance specifications are selected from
the above range depending upon the application.
Pennine Universal Plant Oil, meets both engine and transmission requirements, thus becoming a most universal application product as the name implies.
Automotive Gear Oils. Manufactured from selected solvent
refined base stocks and treated as required to meet the most
arduous applications. The
grades in this range are covered by API. GL1 SAE 80 & SAE
90 to EP oils meeting API. GL4 & GL5 in both mono and multigrades.
Inclusive in this range are Foden worm drive synthetic, Leyland
Bus pneumo-cyclic specification E and Limited Slip Differential
oils.
Automotive Transmission
Fluids. Within this
extensive range are oils meeting, ATF Dexron II & III, ATF
G Ford/Borg Warner requirements and Allison C3. The Pennine
MP Multipurpose Transmission Fluid is designed as a universal
ATF fluid meeting the requirements of General Motors Dexron II,
MB, Ford M2C-166H, Ford Mercon and Detroit Allison C-3/C4.
Other products for the automotive user are, Brake & Clutch
fluids, Flushing oils and Anti-Freeze, MEG complying to BS 3150,
BS 3151, BS 3152 and BS 6580-92 and MPG to BS 6580 & BS 5177,
as well as original engine manufacturers specification .
Agriculture
Oils. A range of products
for both mobile plant and static machinery. The requirements
of the tractor are covered by Pennine Super Universal
Tractor Oils, other applications such as , chain saws with the
2 & 4 Stroke engine oils along with Light, Medium & Heavy
oils for the chains.
Aerosols. The ease of use and convenience of the aerosol makes these products a must in every workshop. The range of aerosols available from Pennine includes Open Gear & Wire Rope, Anti-Seize both Aluminium and Copper, Penetrating Oil, PTFE dry film as well as Food Safe aerosols these are just some of the 20 plus aerosols available.
Biodegradable Lubricants. Lubricants used in applications were
contamination of the surrounding environment could mean ecological
problems, then Biodegradable Lubricants are required. Such areas
forestry, rivers and streams, horticulture and agriculture. The
Pennine range of products covers such applications as
for oils both 2 & 4 stroke engines to hydraulic and transmission
fluids along with chainsaw lubricants and lubricating greases.
Pennine biodegradable hygiene products such as vehicle
and boat 
cleaners
are included in this extensive range.
Retail Range. The Pennine retail range is specially designed for the infrequent user, therefor it is packaged accordingly. The range covers applications such as Engine oils, Economy oils, Motorcycle oils, Transmission fluids and Speciality lubricants, along with products for horticultural and homes & gardens . All these products meet the high standards of our Commercial and Industrial ranges, in both manufacturing and lubricant specifications.
Heritage Vehicle Range. This range of oils is designed for vehicles built from the turn of last century to the 1970`s. manufactured to meet the requirements of the original engine designers and carefully selected modern technologies.
The Pennine Heritage Range covers applications such as mono grade straight and low detergency engine oils, and multi grades of low detergency. Within this range are transmission fluids both mono and multigrades plus ATF`s and other automotive products.
